After Reb Leib Steinman's clear directive, there is still more back door manuvering in attempting to overcome the standstill.
The more time that goes by & the current administration remains in full control, it weakens the others in all other areas in the Yeshiva and other local issues.
The sooner that they face reality, and break with the hope.....the sooner the respect will be earned. Rav Steinman's vision was for everyones benefit, no one lost.
What was the end with the Bais Faiga / Cheder issue?
Rav Shteinman, Shlita was visited by prominent persons re: the issues.
Any one know the results? the attendees?
Were Tabak and Shimmy Glick there as well?
Now Rav Yosef Rosenblum is being pressured to back away from his previous backing of Manes over all the years. They need something to ease off the order from Rav Leib Shteinman.
The Mashgiach was asked to come out with a statement re : the Registration, etc- He refused.
It lit a fuse by some.

Wasn't Rav Jacobs there on the same issue some 2 weeks before? What did Rav Steinman say?
ReplyDeleteRav Shteinman would not support malkiel's hostile takeover. Neither would Rav Yosef Rosenblum. Malkiel refuses to honor agreement signed by him with cheder va'ad. Teachers haven't been paid in month.
ReplyDeleteRav Shteinman was visited by Rav Malkiel, Reb Ahron kotlerm Gedaliaw Weinberg, Yossie Reider, Biderman, Yankey Mandelbaum, etc.
ReplyDeleteThey were concerned about Kovod Hatorah if the Roshei Yeshiva back down from the fight.
Rav Shteinman said Kovod Hatorah says that you should be mivater & give up.
All of the Balei batim said "but where is kovod hatorah if the roshei yeshiva back down"?.
Rav Shteinman responded "kovod hatorah you get in the bais medrash. Sit & learn & give shiurim & respect to the talmidim and you'll have all of the kovod hatorah, and balei batim don't understand this"
In summation- stay out of the town's issues, build up the relationship on yeshiva.
Shimmy Glick, Ruby Shron, Tabak , etc will back Rav Shteinman all the way.
