Bais Eliyahu Chaburas are being told to move to the Princeton Avenue public school building.
The Bais Eliyahu will be occupied by this zmans 450 "new" Talmidim.
It's important to the new talmidim to be near the main campus.
Will the Bais Eliyahu Chaburas move there easily or at all, time will tell.
This move is being felt by some as being "pushed out", as they are some of the old timers that may be encouraged to move on.

they are not moving to princeton this zman
ReplyDeleteThe olde timers have to be moved along to other pastures.
ReplyDeleteEvery new Tamid has a dollar value, grants, tuition, etc of course besides the added "ruach" in the Bais Medrash.
They are approaching the number for University status.
What's wrong with moving to the Princeton Public School property?
ReplyDeleteThe 80 rental units that will be going up in the back part of the property can only enhance the move.
You got it wrong, the Fifth St Gym is moving to Bais Eliyahu.
ReplyDeleteWith all of this moving around, it feels like in "Mitzraim" where everyone was replaced away from their original domain.
No one's moving anywhere. The configuration will remain the same as it was last zman.
ReplyDeleteAs for "University Status", you're simply misinformed. In New Jersey, this status requires "a broad range of baccalaureate degree programs as well as graduate studies leading to masters' degrees in at least three areas", something which is not, nor will ever be, true about BMG.
Despite what the leitzonim would have you think, it's really not all about the $$$.
the fifth street gym is not moving to bais eliyahu it will be the same setup as last zman
ReplyDeleteUniversity status will also open additionl doors to additional funding
